Jara began her beauty industry career in 1997. After graduating with a business degree from The University of Tulsa, she dreamt of owning her own business. She went to beauty school, and discovered an industry that she has  been dedicated to ever since! She created Face Apeel, Inc. and owned and operated two skincare boutiques for 5 years. She had a long-term goal of providing the community with a full-service salon + med spa - the very first of its kind in Tulsa. She was confident in its success, so she opened her first location in 2004 and never looked back! Now, 26 years, 2 salon + med spas, and 1 walk-in salon later, she is executing a career goal of operating her own cosmetology school.

Chayelynn has had a passion for hair long before entering the cosmetology industry. After several years as a hairstylist, in 2011, she pursued her instructor license and began sharing her knowledge with students. Knowing there was a better way to nurture future cosmetology professionals, she opened the first Artisan Institute in Skiatook.

Emma has worked in cosmetology since 2007. She has advanced experience in all services, but specializes in color and blowouts. She is excited to meet new people and learn and grow together through Artisan!

Kennedi has been a cosmetologist since 2018 and became an instructor in 2021. She’s passionate about helping others enhance their authentic beauty through cutting and styling. She is excited to work with future professionals at Artisan to help them reach their full potential!

Pamela has been behind the chair for 25 years. She loves all aspects of cosmetology, but excels with color. She is super excited to share tips and tricks to help future stylists feel confident!

Amanda has worked in the salon and medical spa industry since 2015. She graduated from The University of Tulsa in 2008, and serves as our administrative and marketing lead. Students can contact her for any questions regarding their enrollment, payments, and programs.

Kelsie has had her cosmetology license since 2012, and has worked in the beauty industry as a service provider and administrator ever since. She serves as administrative support and can assist with any enrollment, payment, and program questions.
