Meet Jara!

My name is Jara Herron, and I embarked on my beauty industry journey in 1997. After graduating with a business degree from The University of Tulsa, I dreamt of owning my own business. After much contemplation, I decided to go to beauty school, and discovered an industry that I have been passionate about and dedicated my career to ever since! This industry is a thriving and rewarding place to be. 

I created Face Apeel, Inc. and owned and operated two skincare boutiques for 5 years. I had a long-term goal of providing the community with a full-service salon + med spa - the very first of its kind in Tulsa. With such a diverse amount of services under one roof, I knew it would be a hit with the community, so I opened my first location in 2004 and never looked back!

After 26 years, 7 children , 2 salon + med spas, and 1 walk-in salon later, I am executing a career goal of opening my own cosmetology school. To everyone who has supported me over the years, including all of my former and present staff members, and most of all my husband Jason who has dedicated his life to being a stay-at-home dad so I could accomplish all of the above, I love all of you and everyone will always hold a special place in my heart.
